Refund & guarantee terms
The eligibility promise is the reason most people start. So here it is in full, including the parts that limit it.

The promise
If the DGT refuses your exchange for a reason we should have caught — we said your licence was exchangeable and on eligibility grounds it was not — you pay us nothing. Any fee already taken is refunded in full, and anything we advanced for your tasa is returned.
What the guarantee covers
Our eligibility verdict. Checking your licence against the DGT's convenio list, including the traps — a licence that was itself exchanged from a third country, an issue date after your residency — is the part that is genuinely ours to get right.
It does not cover a refusal caused by information you gave us that was not correct, a document that was not genuine or not yours, a failed psicotécnico (that verdict belongs to a doctor), or an appointment you did not attend.
The tasa
The DGT's tasa 4.1, currently €28.87, is paid to the state. It is never our money and we never mark it up.
If your application does not go ahead, we return what we advanced. Where the state has already taken it and it is not recoverable, we say so plainly and show you the receipt rather than absorbing it silently into a refund figure.
Other refunds
We tell you your licence isn't exchangeable: nothing to refund, because you were never charged — the verdict comes before payment.
You cancel before we pay your tasa: full refund.
You change your mind after attending your appointment: no refund — the service has been performed.
How to claim
Email [email protected]. We check our own records; you do not have to prove anything. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 working days.
