You do two things. We do the rest.
Photograph your documents and turn up to one appointment. Everything between — the DGT file, the tasa, the slot hunting, the chasing — is ours.
How it works
Four things happen. You're involved in two of them.
You photograph your licence and attend one appointment. Everything between those moments is ours — including the appointment nobody can get.

1
Photograph your licence
Both sides, plus your NIE or TIE. We read the card — number, dates, every category — and check your route against the DGT's live list before you pay anything.

2
We prepare and book
We build your DGT file, pay the tasa 4.1 at cost, and hunt the Jefatura appointment, booking the moment a slot opens. Where your route needs a psicotécnico, we tell you exactly where and when.

You attend, once
You hand over your old licence at the counter — the DGT returns it to the country that issued it — and leave with an autorización temporal that keeps you legally driving.

The new card arrives by post
Usually within about six weeks. We check the categories and dates transferred correctly — errors happen — and chase the DGT if they didn't.

What this is
A private service that prepares your paperwork
We are not the DGT, not Tráfico and not a government service. We read the documents you send us, prepare the official canje file, pay the tasa 4.1 on your behalf and book your appointment through the ordinary public appointment system. The decision on any exchange is the DGT's, and it always was.
Two things we cannot do for you: attend, and pass a medical. The exchange requires you in person at the Jefatura, and the psicotécnico verdict belongs to a doctor. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something that does not exist.
Your documents
Your licence, NIE and photo are stored encrypted, visible only to you and the person handling your application, and deleted on the schedule set out in our privacy policy. We never sell them and never use them to train anything.
Your GDPR rights and our data contact are in the privacy policyNot a government website
Hola Money SL is a private company — CIF B26671347. This is a paid, commercial service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the DGT, the Dirección General de Tráfico or any Spanish public administration.
The honest bit
You can do all of this yourself. Here's what it involves.
The state charges about €28.87 plus the medical. If you have the time and the Spanish, that's the cheapest route and we'd rather say so.
| — | Do it yourself | With us |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | €28.87 tasa + €40–60 medical | €195 + the same official costs at cost |
| Your route | Worked out from forums, in your second language | Checked against the DGT's list, in writing, before you pay |
| The appointment | Refresh the cita previa portal at 8am and hope | We hunt it, across every release |
| The sequencing | Documents expiring in turn and restarting the clock | Everything ordered so nothing expires mid-process |
| If a detail is wrong | You find out at the counter, months in | We catch it before anything is filed |
| Attending in person | Required | Still required — the DGT takes your signature and your old licence |
| Typical effort | An evening of research, then weeks of refreshing | About five minutes, then one appointment |
Do it yourself if you're comfortable in Spanish, your deadline is far away, and you don't mind refreshing an appointment page for a few weeks.
Use us if your six months are running, you've already tried for a slot, or you'd rather not discover at the counter that your licence was never exchangeable.
